Question: How can I view the inside of a property on this list?
Answer: Check out a key in our office between 8am and 3:30pm with a $20.00 cash deposit (per key) and a copy of your ID. Please note some properties must be shown and require an appointment.
Question: What are the qualifications to apply?
Answer: 1. Fill out an application ($20 individual or $30 joint)
2. Must be 21 years of age
3. Income must exceed 3 1/2 times the rent
4. No previous evictions or criminal history
5. Three positive credit items on your credit report
Question: How can a property be held?
Answer: A property may be held by submitting the deposit along with the application. The deposit is refundable if your application is declined. All deposits must be submitted with check or money order, cash is not accepted.
Question: How long are the lease terms?
Answer: A 1 (one) year lease is required.
Question: Are pets allowed?
Answer: We have a no pet policy; however, you may ask for an exception upon application.
Question: Does Redd Properties accept Section 8?
Answer: Some of our properties are considered in the Section 8 program.
Question: How much money do I need to move in?
Answer: Upon lease signing, you will pay the security deposit, $20 key deposit and the first month’s rent in order to move in. All monies must be submitted by check or money order, cash is not accepted.
Question: What is the process to move in?
Answer: 1. Fill out an application and pay the application fee.
2. We will contact you with a decision within 24-48 hours.
3. If approved, you may schedule an appt to sign a lease.
4. At the lease signing, you will pay all monies due and take the keys to move in at that time.
5. You will be given a move in condition report that must be returned to our office within 48 hours.
